Synopis (from Lindsey is getting into her groove as the director of the Briar Creek Public Library when a New York editor visits town, creating quite a buzz. Lindsey’s friend Beth wants to sell the editor her children’s book, but Beth’s boyfriend, a famous author, gets in the way. When they go to confront him, he’s found murdered-and Beth is the prime suspect. Lindsey has to act fast before they throw the book at the wrong person.

My Thoughts:  Another great cozy!  Author Jenn McKinlay (who brought us the wonderful Cupcake Bakery Mystery series as well), brings us yet another mystery series that is fun, fast, and oh so refreshing.  What a great way for a booklover to spend a day than with a book about more books 🙂  True booklovers will understand my joy with this 🙂

Lindsey Norris just took over as director of Briar Creek Public Library in Briar Creek, Connecticut.  She has started all types of new programs including a Crafternoon Club – how cute and cozy does that sound, I ask??  When her friend, Beth, takes her new book to a famous editor that is in town, things begin to go awry and Beth’s boyfriend is found murdered!  And so begins a new cozy . . . .

I found this first book in the new Library Lover’s Series a delight to read.  The main characters are pleasant and ever so funny at times – like laugh out loud funny!  This is definitely another keeper cozy series for me!
