My thoughts:  Happy Saturday!!  Wooooo, I love weekends!!!!!  Ok, anyway back to the review.  If you follow and read my blog at all you will see that I recently was part of blog tour and review for the 2nd book in this series, Designed to Death.  Well I hate reading my cozies or any series books for that matter out of order, so I hopped on Amazon to see if I could get the first book in this series as I was feeling that I was getting too much information and hints in the 2nd book that would ruin it for me.  I was lucky and somehow got the book on special for Kindle for $0.99 (who doesn’t love that!!), but if you are interested it is on Kindle and Nook now for $2.99 – a great deal!!!!

I really am enjoying this series.  The characters overall are fun, interesting, and leave me wanting more.  I for one love that there is another scrapbooking/papercrafting cozy series on the market as I just started making homemade cards in May and am now all into it!

The only issue I had with this book is that I still don’t feel like I know Faith’s backstory working with JAG as much as I want to.  That is part of the reason that I picked up this first book is to find out the story and in my opinion it was really glossed over.  I know it is a simple, cozy mystery but I think this info helps develop Faith’s character more and informs us readers as to the person she is.  I sincerely hope the author plans on really digging deeper into why she left.  Yes, it is laid out why and you get the story, but it just seems to me to be an afterthought . . . hmmmm.  Tell me more!

I suggest these books to cozy lovers, and particularly cozy lovers that enjoy scrapbooking and papercrafting!  The price for the ebooks is fantastic, you can’t go wrong!

And remember,
